First things first. Kenny popped into Jock ‘n’ Roll’s virtual HQ this week to say that we'd been unfair on the Idlewild fans. Fair comment and we're happy not to tar all of them with the “Stevie28” brush. Happy to report Kenny seems to have forgiven us and has joined our increasingly popular forum. Get your votes in soon Kenny and make the vast majority of nice Idlewild fans happy.
Our long-standing number one got it’s first Worst Single vote this week from Chrissie from the Del Amitri site. We're also still blushing from her comments about Paolo Nutini too! Someone needs a cold shower.
Good week for Love and Money, which should please our regular visitor Mr McCann (Hi Andy!) and the good doctor Giselle who, along with a couple of others, has nudged Strawberry Switchblade into the lower reaches of the chart with another single appearing at last.
Debuts this week for Chrissie's favourite teenage stud muffin and Annie Lennox just makes the cut. Some folks are asking where Josef K are. Still bubbling under is the obvious answer so if you really want them in there you know what to do.
I’m away all week teaching people about employment contracts so please look after The Cat.
Are you growing a moustache?

This is very sad I know but as Dave says numbers make the world go around.
A quick analysis of the chart highlights that 1983 is the high water mark as far as the voters are cocerned with 12 singles appearing in the chart.
The next most popular is are 1985 and 1990 with five each
1983 is more popular than the whole of the 70's which have 6 - which is the same as the 00's
The 1980's total 44 which makes them easily the most popular decade followed by the 90's with n-i-i-i-i-nteen |

Come back to a PC after 4 days away and find at last someone as sad as me. Maybe I should become a cult leader. TC has always said I could be an enormous cult. Least i think that's how he pronounced it. |

Does it involve The Cat, a tin of custard and a tickling stick? _________________ www.jocknroll.co.uk - The Great Jock 'n' Roll Album - Have You Voted? |

I'll never tell (least not where it will be posted and can serve against my best interest at trial). That said....the site admin's suggestions might keep me busy while I wait....
