For me, the greatest band ever - totally unique. Far and away the best band Scotland has produced. I've been a fan from the start...I think Elizabeth Fraser is a genius.
Without wishing to sway your choices for the upcoming Jock n Roll Album poll, BBC Scotland will transmit an excellent documentary on their album Heaven or Las Vegas this coming Thursday, 8 March. It will be available to listen online for a week after.
You'll even hear me spouting the biggest load of pish ever for about 15 seconds, but stay with me. The great Pat Nevin makes a very insightful contribution, and Robin Guthrie himself gives the inside info. |

Joyce,
Welcome aboard and thanks for letting us know about the radio show.
It is indeed a fabulous album and one I enjoy on a regular basis.
Cheers

Surely one of THE greatest Scottish bands. Stellar catalogue, no sell outs to commercialism...a road of their own making...and a voice to go to Heaven for every day.
Sweet.
