Post-Chart Analysis from Dave in the Stats Bunker:
And a very strange couple of weeks as everything moves around and ends up more or less where it started.
Good week for Roddy Frame as he’s back in the Top 3 and has two other albums on the rise. Equally Sir Edwyn re-enters the Top 10 and has the highest climber too at number 48.
First appearances for The Bathers and Altered Images whilst the wave of euphoria sweeping Paisley after St Mirren stay up obviously has a knock on effect as both the Close Lobsters and Stealers Wheel are on the comeback trail, as if they had been two down to Motherwell. Or something.
Boards of Canada continue their slow climb and Horse moves up one place, which sees sales of Malibu rocketing.
Oh, and Travis has been at No 9 for 3 charts in a row. That’s very interesting isn’t it? Veal. Do you know how they make veal?
