Hi all,
Does anybody have any info on the band The Crows?
Does anyone have any demo's, recordings, pics, live stuff etc etc of them I could get/buy copies of?
Did they used to be First Priority, and if so, what did they release?
Apparently Donald McLeod (from The Crows) is owner of the Cathouse etc..please elaborate....
Any info is appreciated... you can email me at theedesres@yahoo.co.uk
Thanks

I've found the following discography:
1983 LP The Crows (Dingle's DIN 317)
1986 7"/12" The Sun Went In/Round and Round (Ravin' 001)
1987 12" Redman (Ravin RAVE 002)
1987 LP No Bones Or Grease (Dragon DRGN 861)
1987 12" EP Takayama/Blueberry Eyes/All Fall Down (Survival SUR12 041)
1988 The Love You Run/Swept Away/Leaving You (Survival SUR12 042)
I've found a thread on the Web about The Crows debut album, which may, it seems, be re-issued. The link is: http://www.mudcat.org/thread.cfm?threadid=101458&messages=24
There's also information on Donald MacLeod here:

Why not just drop him a line?
Hope this helps Des.
Cheers

Hey The Cat,
Thanks for the info
The 12" singles are definitely The Crows (the band I am referring to). The 83' album must be someone else as according to the article that you put a link to re Donald McL, The Crows did not form until '86....and the '87 album is apparently some doo-wop group from the 50's...
It is more info than I have managed to find online though...so thanks a lot for the info.. and regards the link to Donald McLeod, I have just popped him an email so we'll see if he gets in touch....and yes, he was in a band called First Priority..so wanna investigate them now...

Maybe you could ask Donald for the full Crows discography!
In my research I too came across the doo-wop group but most of the discography came from a book, so the book's wrong aswell.

Hey The Cat,
What book was it that you found this info from...? I am interested, a lot. You must be more of a music fan than I am lol
I do really appreciate the info...
I've emailed Donald so if he replies initially I will then ask about discographies etc... I will definintely update the message board if anything comes of it....
